What it means

This deployment cannot do what the request asks.

Common causes

• The backend runs a different version from the CLI or SDK.
• The feature is not set up in this environment.

Fix it

1. Update the CLI or SDK, or use a deployment that matches it.
2. Check where you are with capxul whoami.

In JSON and the SDK

With --json, the CLI prints:

In the SDK, a failed result has result.error.code === "CAPABILITY_UNAVAILABLE". Branch on the code, not on the message: the message is written for people and can change.
