What it means

The deployment is missing a setting it needs.

• The deployment is not fully set up.

Fix it

In JSON and the SDK

With --json, the CLI prints:

In the SDK, a failed result has result.error.code === "ENV_MISSING". Branch on the code, not on the message: the message is written for people and can change.
