What it means

The command stopped before it finished.

Common causes

  • You pressed Ctrl-C, or rejected the request on the approval page.

Fix it

  1. Run the command again if you still want it.

In JSON and the SDK

With --json, the CLI prints:

In the SDK, a failed result has result.error.code === "CANCELLED". Branch on the code, not on the message: the message is written for people and can change.

The wallet declined to sign.

WRONG_STATE

The request is valid, but the current state does not allow it.
