PROVIDER_ERROR

A service that Capxul uses did not complete the request.

What it means

A service that Capxul uses did not complete the request.

Common causes

  • The service is down, timed out or limited the request.
  • The service refused the request.

Fix it

  1. Read mode in the error: timeout, upstream-down and rate-limited usually pass if you try again later.
  2. Other modes need Capxul support. Quote the request reference.

In JSON and the SDK

With --json, the CLI prints:

In the SDK, a failed result has result.error.code === "PROVIDER_ERROR". Branch on the code, not on the message: the message is written for people and can change.
